Registration FAQ
Who needs to register for GCER?
Anyone who wishes to attend or participate in the conference sessions, guest speakers and/or the Autonomous Robot Showcase needs to register for the conference package. Anyone on a Botball or Beyond Botball team who wishes to participate in their respective tournament needs to register for the conference package. If you wish to participate in the full conference you must be registered through the Botball website AND through the conference center website.
People who ONLY wish to view the tournament sessions and/or purchase a la carte tickets do not need to complete the Botball online registration form or the conference center registration. However, your access to the conference center will be limited to the area where the tournament is taking place and you will not be able to purchase meals in the cafeteria. The center will have a snack bar set up near the tournament room where lunch can be purchased each day from 11:30 am - 2 pm.
How do I register to attend GCER?
Please visit our online registration form and carefully read all the information listed on that website. From there you can select the online registration link and complete the GCER registration process. Remember, you must also complete the venue registration process!
How do I register to attend a GCER Preconference Session?
Preconference registration is not included in the regular conference registration price and must be selected as a separate item as you complete the GCER registration process. Visit this link to read about GCER registration: GCER registration
What is included in my GCER registration?
Registration for the GCER conference package includes full participation in all regular conference events. When you register for GCER you may select and pay for the optional preconference workshops and/or the fireworks field trip.
IMPORTANT VENUE INFORMATION!
Registration does not include hotel or venue accommodations. Because the conference is at an all-inclusive conference venue, ALL conference attendees must register with the conference venue whether you intend to stay at the hotel or not. We encourage all participants to stay at the venue hotel since the conference center is not close to other hotel accommodations. Also, the conference hotel room rates include all meals! If you do not stay at the conference hotel you must still register with the conference center to secure a “day pass”. A day pass costs $30 per person per day and allows the conference attendee access to all the venue amenities and serves as a meal pass.
ALL ATTENDEES MUST COMPLETE BOTH THE ONLINE BOTBALL REGISTRATION AND THE CONFERENCE VENUE REGISTRATION!

NOTE: For people registering for a day pass, some or all of your day pass fees could be waived if you’re interested in filling some volunteer positions from time to time throughout the conference. How much does it cost to attend GCER?
The conference package for the 5 day event is $95 and allows the registered attendee access to every conference event on the schedule.
When you arrive at the conference facility, we will have a la carte tickets available for purchase onsite. We will not be pre-selling these tickets on our online registration form. See below for a la carte ticket prices.

This is definitely the best deal for the money and we encourage people to participate in as many conference events as they can. We believe that everyone from students to mentors to parents will enjoy and benefit from the various conference events.

A la Carte Tickets
If you wish to attend only 1 or 2 conference events you can purchase a la carte tickets at registration or at the door of any conference event. Please note - we are not selling a la carte tickets online! The prices are as follows:
